About TENS

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a clinically proven, drug-free method of pain relief. It is extremely safe and has been widely used in the medical community for over 30 years. TENS fights pain by applying electrical stimulation to the skin which stimulates nerve fibres. This has a double action of blocking the pain signal travelling to the brain and increasing the production and release of endorphins that reduce the pain sensation.
